Belka's First Tri-color Bernedoodle Litter

Updated: Mar 17, 2024

In October 2023, we received the wonderful news that Belka, our beloved Bernese mountain dog, might be expecting! After a quick trip to the vet, which confirmed our suspicions, we eagerly awaited the arrival of our furry additions.

New life is always such a blessing and joy.

A few weeks later, during an X-ray appointment, we were overjoyed to discover that seven bundles of joy were on the way.

We were so excited we could not wait.

Despite arriving a bit earlier than expected, each pup emerged healthy and strong, filling our home with warmth and excitement.

These perfect little bundles captured our hearts from the moment they entered the world. As they grew, we marveled at their development and celebrated each milestone. Belka was an amazing and loving mother, filling our home with her nurturing presence. We couldn't be more proud or more grateful for our growing family.

With the arrival of December, our home became a festive playground for both kids and puppies alike. We delighted in capturing precious moments with a Christmas-themed photo shoot, dressing our fluffy companions in adorable holiday hoodies.

It was such a joy raising these silly fluff balls for nine weeks! We loved having pups during the December holidays. Kids and puppies had so much time to cuddle and play.

Venturing to the vet for vaccinations with our energetic brood felt more like a formal workout than a routine appointment!

Their irresistible charm led to a few playful skirmishes with the nursing staff, who were reluctant to see them leave.

As the weeks flew by, we watched with bittersweet anticipation as each puppy found its 'furever' home. From Vanderbijlpark to Zimbabwe, our fluffy companions embarked on new adventures with their loving families. We carefully hand-pick each selected loving homes for these special pups from on the numerous applications.

Though saying goodbye is never easy, we take comfort in knowing they are surrounded by love and happiness in their new homes.

During the last week we tried to take a group photo with our kids and pups - IMPOSSIBLE!

We extend our sincerest thanks to the wonderful families who opened their hearts and homes to our beloved Bernedoodles. May your days be filled with laughter, snuggles, and countless cherished memories. Here's to a future filled with doodle love!
